Bella Blvd.

I had been stalking.... I mean checking multiple times daily..... 2peas store for this product to come in. Since I saw it at CHA I had to have it all! That is a rare thing for me. I usually like some pieces of a line, but rarely all. Needless to say my wallet was hurting about five minutes after 2peas got it in stock.

This stuff is even better looking in person than online. I love all the extra stuff, the alphabets, mini stickers, two large sticker sheets and chipboard!

I decided to try out for their design team. Crazy but I will admit this stuff was very easy to work with and put something together. I was able to complete all four required layouts in about three days with no late night scrapping. :)

Happy birthday card

I have been thinking lately that I should have a stock pile of cards ready to go for all different kinds of things. Novel concept I am sure. Anyway, I created this card using the Ali Edwards stamp set Sentimentally yours. I also used some old tape from making memories I have been wanting for years and found cheap at big lots. The balloons are done using stickles over another ali stamp.

Doodlebug Design team tryout

I love this company. This company has been around for years.... I stocked them in my scrapbook store way back when and they have survived this harsh scrapbooking world. For good reason though. I adore their color scheme. The dots and grids papers are a staple in my space to use for die-cut titles, journaling, backgrounds, to stamp on and so many other ways. Their new yummy albums are fantastic too. I currently own three.... I need more.

So I couldnt resist trying out for their design team. We had to create two cards, one layout, and one home decor project or mini album. I chose the home decor piece.

The home decor piece is a birthday countdown. Its a 12x12 wood frame painted green with a 12x12 canvas sitting inside of it to give it some pop. I covered the canvas and created the balloons using the cricut. I then used wood blocks for the days and placed a piece of lightweight wood under it (with super glue of course) to hold the wood blocks up. This way there are no small pieces to lose and all the kids have to do is flip the blocks.

Hope you guys like it. Message me if you have any questions.

Scrappin' with Liz

Im thinking its well past time to see my scrappy friend again. I have been scrapbooking like a mad woman lately to meet some deadlines for design team calls but would love to meet up with her again. You hear that Liz??

These are a few layouts that I worked on the last time we were hanging out.
